Tissot PRC200 Shows Off The T17.1.516.32
Since its founding over 150 years ago, Tissot has had many timepieces to show off. The company excels in innovative watchmaking, and has time and time again had many “firsts”. In the year 1853 when Charles-Felicien Tissot started the company with his son, they were the first to sell a pocket watch that registered two different time zones. They have continued this tradition by experimenting with materials to make the first plastic, stone, wood, and mother of pearl watches. Based in LeLocle, Switzerland with its presence in over 150 countries, Tissot became a member of the Swatch Group Ltd. in 1983, the largest watch producer and distributor in the world.
Showing off and shining forth in the PRC200 collection is the T17.1.516.32, a stainless steel chronograph with Swiss quartz analog movement. The white dial face has silver tone hands and hour markers which are Super-Luminova filled for easy reading even in the blackest night. The black Arabic hour numeral are at 3, 9 and 12 o’clock making a stunning contrast for a clean sharp look. The three tonal subdials have black markers and red accents which gives the dial a small touch of color. Use the tachymeter, found on the chapter ring, and the chronograph for measuring elapsed time and determining average speed at all your sports occasions. It is water resistant to up to 200 meters which makes it suitable for diving and other water sports. Showing it all off is the dark brown leather strap which can be adjusted to your wrist with it fold-over push-button deployment clasp which is so much better than a buckle clasp as it can be preset to an exact size and is much easier on the leather of the band. Have fun showing off this elegant watch!
